Our vision is a world where children feel safe to learn, grow, and be themselves. We believe every child deserves understanding, support, and access to education that meets their needs. Through advocacy, tutoring, and social emotional resources, we partner with families and schools to help children build skills, confidence, and trust. We are committed to trauma informed care, honoring neurodiversity, and helping every child receive the support they deserve.
Johnson’s JellyBeans provides personalized tutoring for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. This support is designed for children who may struggle with learning, attention, regulation, or confidence. When school feels hard, we help students feel capable again.
Tutoring is flexible and based on what each student needs. Some families choose one session a week. Others need more support for a period of time. Sessions may be one hour or longer, and more intensive, homeschool style support is available when appropriate and based on availability.
All lessons are intentional and standards based, no matter where you live. Parents receive lesson plans through Google Slides so they can see what was taught, what skills are being practiced, and how progress is building. Transparency matters.
Mrs. Johnson makes learning personal and engaging while focusing on the skills a student needs to grow. Lessons are custom built and may include games, social stories, crafts, and hands on activities. When possible, student interests are used to help increase motivation and connection.
Tutoring is data driven. Progress is tracked and used to guide instruction. Collaboration with families and educators is always welcome and strongly encouraged, because working together leads to better outcomes.
Tutoring is available in person in Sierra Vista, Arizona, or online.
Rate: $25 per hour
Tutoring Services
Advisory Services: Provide guidance to parents on services, programs, and accommodations tailored to meet their child's individual needs.
Interpretation Assistance: Assist parents in understanding and interpreting reports and evaluations, explaining their implications in a clear and accessible manner.
Document Drafting: Create and draft requests, responses, and complaints to schools on behalf of parents to ensure effective communication.
Written Requests Support: Assist parents with the preparation and submission of written requests for various educational needs.
IEP and 504 Meeting Preparation: Prepare parents for IEP and 504 meetings, offering advice on support materials, prioritizing goals, and outlining objectives.
Document Review: Thoroughly review special education documents for accuracy and completeness both before and after IEP and 504 meetings.
Meeting Accompaniment: Accompany parents to IEP and 504 meetings, providing advice and assistance to ensure the best outcomes for the child.
Case Strength Assessment: Advise parents on the strength of their cases before review, offering referrals to special education attorneys when appropriate.
